For Ontario drivers, important renewal deadlines are approaching

This month, Ontario drivers are reminded of an important renewal date for their driver’s licences and licence plate stickers.
To prevent people from congregating at Service Ontario offices during the start of the pandemic, the provincial government advised residents that any identification cards that expired after March 2020 did not need to be renewed.
The administration is reintroducing renewal requirements now that the COVID-19 situation has improved.
Most driver’s licences that expired during the epidemic and haven’t been renewed subsequently must be renewed by February 28th, according to the Ministry of Transportation.
The deadline for Class G licence holders is February 28th, according to the Ontario government.
Novice drivers with class G1, G2, M1 or M2 licences will have until December 31, 2022 to requalify for or improve their licence.

ਹੁਣ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਸਰਕਾਰ renewal ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਲਾਇਸੰਸ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਿਆਦ ਪੁੱਗ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਵੀਨੀਕਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, 28 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ।
ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਲਾਸ G ਲਾਇਸੰਸ ਧਾਰਕਾਂ ਲਈ 28 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਦੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਮਿਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਨਵੇਂ ਲਾਈਸੈਂਸ ਧਾਰਕਾਂ – ਕਲਾਸ G1, G2, M1 ਜਾਂ M2 – ਕੋਲ 31 ਦਸੰਬਰ, 2022 ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਜਾਂ ਅੱਪਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
