COVID-19 testing no longer required for vaccinated visitors to Canada

OTTAWA, ONTARIO- Beginning today, vaccinated travellers will be able to enter Canada without having to take a COVID-19 test.
According to the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, the shift will result in a rise in travel bookings both in and out of the nation, though it is unlikely to approach pre-pandemic levels just yet.
People may still be randomly tested when they arrive, and anyone entering the country from another country is required to wear a mask in public for 14 days.
Unvaccinated travellers will be tested upon arrival and then again eight days later, with a two-week quarantine period.
