Indian Corona Vaccine Covacin approved by WHO
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਰੋਨਾ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਕੋਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਡਬਲਯੂਐਚਓ ਤੋ ਮਿਲੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ
New Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) has cleared the Indian corona vaccine covacin. WHO Technical Committee Includes Bharat Biotech’s Covacin in Emergency Use List .Earlier, the committee had twice sought clarification from co-vaccine maker Bharat Biotech.
Last week, the WHO’s technical advisory group sought clarification from Bharat Biotech on the final ‘benefit risk’ for including India’s indigenous covid vaccine covacin in the list of emergency use.
According to the report, six vaccines have so far been approved by the WHO. There are several countries that have approved covacin to facilitate international travel and allow travelers to enter their countries. These countries include Guyana, Iran, Mauritius, Mexico, Nepal, Paraguay, the Philippines, Australia, Oman, Sri Lanka and Greece.

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ :ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਰੋਨਾ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਕੋਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।ਡਬਲਯੂਐਚਓ ਦੀ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਬਾਇਓਟੈੱਕ ਦੀ ਕੋਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ।ਦੱਸ ਦਈਏ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਕੋਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਬਾਇਓਟੈੱਕ ਤੋਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਮੰਗ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਸੀ।
ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਡਬਲਯੂਐਚਓ ਦੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਰੋਕੂ ਟੀਕੇ ਕੋਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੰਤਿਮ ‘ਲਾਭ ਜੋਖ਼ਮ’ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਬਾਇਓਟੈੱਕ ਤੋਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ , ਹੁਣ ਤਕ 6 ਟੀਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਬਲਯੂਐਚਓ ਤੋਂ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਚ ਗਯਾਨਾ, ਈਰਾਨ, ਮੌਰਿਸ਼ਸ, ਮੈਕਸੀਕੋ, ਨੇਪਾਲ, ਪਰਾਗਵੇ, ਫਿਲਪੀਨ, ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ, ਓਮਾਨ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਤੇ ਯੂਨਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ।
