High Court condemns Election Commission: Election Commission murder case of corona deaths

The Election Commission has been reprimanded by the Madras High Court over the ongoing corona virus outbreak in the country. The court has questioned the Election Commission over the conduct of Assembly elections in the growing cases of Corona.

According to NDTV, the Madras High Court on Monday slammed the Election Commission for allowing political rallies during the Corona epidemic. In the High Court, the Chief Justice told the Election Commission’s counsel, “Your organization alone is responsible for the second wave of Kovind-19.”

Criticizing the court for allowing the election campaign in the wake of the case, the Madras High Court said the Election Commission was responsible for the second wave of Kovid and a murder case should be registered against you.
