ਯਾਰਕਡੇਲ ਮਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਚੌਥਾ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ

In connection with a gunfight in Toronto’s Yorkdale Mall last summer, a fourth suspect was arrested in Sudbury.

Two groups of people were involved in an incident that led in an exchange of gunshots in the popular shopping mall on the afternoon of Aug. 29, according to Toronto police.

According to officials, multiple rounds of gunfire were discharged near Hudson’s Bay.

The mall was put on lockdown for many hours after the event as a precaution.

Although no one was shot, an elderly woman was hurt when she fell while attempting to exit the mall.

Police were able to find and arrest one man nearby with the help of mall security.

A woman and a second guy were arrested in connection with the shooting two days later.

A warrant was also issued for a fourth suspect, Isaac Stafford, 23, of Toronto.

On Nov. 3, Sudbury police said that a suspect had been apprehended in connection with the investigation.

Sudbury police say they received an information that Stafford was in the Greater Sudbury region yesterday evening.

The knowledge that he was inside a property on Eva Avenue prompted detectives to launch an inquiry.

At roughly 6:15 p.m., police came on the site and arrested Stafford after verifying the information.

He was accused with discharging a handgun with the intent to kill.

He has yet to be assigned a court date since he is awaiting transfer to Toronto police custody.

ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 29 ਅਗਸਤ ਦੀ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ, ਵਿਅਸਤ ਸ਼ਾਪਿੰਗ ਮਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਝਗੜਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਹਡਸਨ ਬੇਅ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਗੋਲਾ ਬਾਰੂਦ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਰਾਊਂਡ ਫਾਇਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀ ਵਜੋਂ, ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਲਾਕਡਾਊਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਮਾਲ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਰਹੀ।

ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ, ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ 23 ਸਾਲਾ ਆਈਜ਼ਕ ਸਟੈਫੋਰਡ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਵਾਰੰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

3 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਡਬਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ, ਸਡਬਰੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਟੈਫੋਰਡ ਗ੍ਰੇਟਰ ਸਡਬਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ।

ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫਫੋਰਡ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6:15 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।

ਉਸਦੀ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਪੇਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਤਾਰੀਖ ਅਜੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
