An elderly woman beaten and robbed in Mississauga
ਮਿਸੀਸਾਗਾ ‘ਚ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਟਮਾਰ, ਲੁੱਟ-ਖੋਹ: ਪੁਲਿਸ
Two people assaulted and robbed a woman in her 70s in Mississauga on Tuesday evening, according to Peel Region police.
Just after 6 p.m., it happened at Goreway and Etude drives.
The woman was strolling in the vicinity at the time when her bag was stolen by two people, according to police. The woman sustained minor injuries.
According to authorities, a female and a white man were observed departing the area in a black-colored vehicle.
Police have not shared any additional information.
ਪੀਲ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸੀਸਾਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ 70 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਦੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟ ਲਿਆ।
ਇਹ ਗੋਰੇਵੇਅ ਅਤੇ ਈਟੂਡ ਡਰਾਈਵ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ।
ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਔਰਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਬੈਗ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਗੋਰੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੀ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਭੱਜਦੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
