As thunderstorm warnings in the GTA ended, heat rises

Environment Canada has lifted thunderstorm warnings for Toronto, Halton-Peel, and York-Durham, making it hot and hazy across much of the GTA.
The Canadian weather service warned the region this morning that conditions were favourable for severe thunderstorms to form, including large, nickle-size hail and heavy local downpours.
This line of strong thunderstorms stretched from Aurora to Sandhill, moving southeast at 50 km/h. Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, King City, Woodbridge, Wildfield, Malton, Kleinburg, Maple, Concord, Oak Ridges, Thornhill, Gormley, and Unionville are among the areas affected.
