Brampton: Child seriously injured after being hit by car

On Tuesday morning in Brampton, Ont., a youngster under the age of 12 was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle.
Around 8:30 a.m., the incident occurred on Kennedy Road, near Sandalwood Parkway and Richvale Road.
According to Peel police, a vehicle went off the road after colliding with another vehicle, injuring a juvenile pedestrian in the process.
Paramedics say the child has been rushed to Sick Kids Hospital, and their parents have been alerted.
According to authorities, both drivers remained at the site.
While authorities examine the event, local roads are restricted.

ਪੀਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇੱਕ ਵਾਹਨ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੜਕ ਤੋਂ ਉਲਟ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੈਦਲ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਟੱਕਰ ਵੱਜ ਗਈ।
ਪੈਰਾਮੈਡਿਕਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਕਿਡਜ਼ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਰਹੇ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਹਨ।
