Brampton: Police investigating a fatal shooting

A man was fatally shot in Brampton on Thursday night, and Peel police are investigating.
Just before 10 p.m., a shooting happened near Botavia Downs Drive and Brisdale Drive.
When officers got at the site, Const. Akhil Mooken said they found a man with gunshot wounds.
“That man died as a result of the injuries he got, despite the best efforts of first responders,” Mooken said.
“This inquiry will be handled by investigators from our Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau.”
Police do not have any suspect information at this time.
Anyone with information, including dashcam and surveillance video, is asked to contact the police.

ਕੰਸਟ. ਅਖਿਲ ਮੁਕੇਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਗੋਲੀ ਲੱਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਇਆ।
