On Monday, additional snow is expected in Toronto as the city works to clear roads

As the city continues to clean up from last week’s storm, another five to ten millimetres of snow could fall on Toronto on Monday.
The snow is forecast to start in the afternoon and last until the evening, according to a winter weather advisory.
“Southwesterly winds over Lake Ontario “are” forecast to increase snowfall rates, particularly near the lake’s edge,” Environment Canada said in its advisory.
“Difficult weather conditions may cause transportation delays.” Be ready to alter your driving when the road conditions change.”
Snowfall expected to start around noon and last until around midnight, according to the weather service. The temperature in Toronto is predicted to reach a high of -5 C, with the wind chill making it feel like -7.
Overnight, the temperature is expected to plummet to around -13 C due to the wind chill.
The city is still digging out from the snowstorm a week later. Toronto Mayor John Tory declared a “major snow storm condition” following the brunt of the blizzard, which prohibits cars from parking on roads designated as snow routes.
The city announced on Friday that it would increase its efforts to clear the roads, with a focus on getting snow off of minor roads now that several of Toronto’s major arterial highways have been ploughed.
Crews had cleared just over 17,300 tonnes of snow from Toronto roads as of Sunday.

17 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ‘ਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ 55 ਸੈਂਟੀਮੀਟਰ ਬਰਫ਼ ਡਿੱਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਬੰਦ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰੀ ਹੋਈ।

ਐਤਵਾਰ ਤੱਕ, ਅਮਲੇ ਨੇ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 17,300 ਟਨ ਬਰਫ਼ ਹਟਾਈ ਹੈ।
