Ontario records lowest COVID-19 daily case in months with 306 infections

TORONTO, ON-  On Wednesday, Ontario health officials recorded 306 new COVID-19 infections, the lowest daily case total since early August.
The new cases are down significantly from the 390 infections reported on Tuesday and the 458 cases reported on Monday, which were all on the holiday weekend.
The last time Ontario had a daily case count this low was on Aug. 5, when 213 infections were reported by health officials.
As a result, Ontario’s seven-day rolling average of daily infections has dropped to below 500, down from 565 the previous week.
