Shooting in Toronto: one man killed and another injured

TORONTO, ON- According to Toronto police, a man died from his injuries after an overnight shooting in North York.
Police responded to a complaint regarding a shooting in a parking lot on Bakersfield Street near Sheppard Avenue about 3:30 a.m. on Thursday.
A man with a gunshot wound was discovered at the location.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries, according to authorities.
According to authorities, a second victim, a 23-year-old man, made his own way to another hospital with gunshot wounds and is in non-life threatening condition.
“We have reason to think that the pronounced victim and the person who is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries are linked. They are related to each other but not by blood “At the scene, Inspector Kathy Stephenson told reporters.
The investigation has been handed up to the homicide unit.
There has been no information on the suspects published.
“We’re still looking for and examining video, as well as interviewing with witnesses,” Stephenson explained.

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੋਲੀ ਲੱਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਉਸਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਲੇਵਾ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਦੂਜਾ ਪੀੜਤ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਉਮਰ 23 ਸਾਲ ਹੈ, ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਲੱਗਣ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਥੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਹੋਮੀਸਾਈਡ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।”
ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਜਾਂ ਕ੍ਰਾਈਮ ਸਟਾਪਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
