Student critically injured in stabbing incident outside Toronto High School

A Toronto District School Board (TDSB) student was stabbed outside his high school shortly after he was dismissed on Monday.
The student was taken to a trauma center in critical condition, Toronto Paramedic Services said.
However, the principal of Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute acknowledged in a letter to parents on Monday evening that a student had been stabbed outside the school around 3:10 p.m.
According to Hill, the school was not locked because the stabbing occurred after the dismissal, when most students and employees had left.
Hill did not specify what grade the student was in or his age.
Three people are believed to have been engaged in the incident, according to Toronto police, but they have not released any other information.

ਹਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਲਾਬੰਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਛੁਰਾ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਰਖਾਸਤਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਾਪਰੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
ਹਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਹੈ।
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
