Toronto issued extreme cold weather warning

The city of Toronto has issued an extreme cold weather warning, predicting bitterly cold weather throughout the weekend.
The advisory was issued today by the city’s Medical Officer of Health and will stay in effect until further notice.
Extreme cold weather alerts are issued when temperatures are expected to drop to -15 degrees Celsius or lower, or when the wind chill is expected to drop to -20 degrees Celsius or lower.
The temperature in Toronto is expected to dip to -7 C this afternoon, but it will feel like -12 due to the wind chill. Today will be partly cloudy with the possibility of snowflakes.
