A fire at a coal mine in Russia has killed at least 52 people
ਰੂਸ ‘ਚ ਕੋਲੇ ਦੀ ਖਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ 52 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਮੌਤ
Russia: A fire has been reported at a coal mine in Russia’s Siberian province. The death toll has risen to 52. The dead included six rescue workers. At night 11 workers were reported killed. It is the largest coal mine accident in Russia in five years.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed sorrow over the large number of deaths. A three-day mourning period was also declared for the incident from Friday to Sunday. According to the administration, 38 people are still hospitalized. Four of them are in critical condition. The fire is believed to have started in an electric ventilation shaft, which quickly spread to the inside of the mine. Due to the fine coal present there, it ignited very fast.
There were 285 people inside the mine at the time of the accident. Most of them were evicted in time.

ਰੂਸ : ਰੂਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਈਬੇਰੀਆ ਸੂਬੇ ‘ਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਇੱਕ ਕੋਲਾ ਖਾਨ ‘ਚ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ‘ਚ ਜਾਨ ਗਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 52 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ‘ਚ 6 ਬਚਾਅ ਕਰਮੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਰਾਤ 11 ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਰੂਸ ‘ਚ ਕੋਲਾ ਖਾਨ ‘ਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਹੈ।
ਰੂਸੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਵਲਾਦਿਮੀਰ ਪੁਤਿਨ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ‘ਚ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਤੱਕ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਸੋਗ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ 38 ਲੋਕ ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ‘ਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ 4 ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹੈ। ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਗ ਇੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਵੈਂਟੀਲੇਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਾਫਟ ‘ਚ ਲੱਗੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬੜੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਖਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ। ਉਥੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਬਾਰੀਕ ਕੋਲੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਭੜਕ ਗਈ।
ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਖਾਨ ‘ਚ 285 ਲੋਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
