Ariana cabin crew’s “shattered dreams” in Afghanistan

Female cabin crew for Ariana Airlines, Afghanistan’s national carrier, were expected to represent the face of the country’s future.
Their new bosses, the Taliban, have now advised them not to return to work for the time being.
Out of dread for their future, eleven of the ladies have banded together to hide in an abandoned house.
