ਅਹਿਮ ਖਬਰ: ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਵਧਿਆ
A total of 32,322 new cases of covid-19 infection were reported in the UK on Monday, with 57 deaths from corona, bringing the total death toll to 141,862, according to the UK’s Health Protection Agency. The only people who died were those who died within 28 days of their first positive test.
Although the number of infections has dropped by 16.6 per cent in the last one week, the death toll has risen by 8.2 per cent. Currently, 8,966 patients of covid-19 are hospitalized. The head of the British National Health Service (NHS) has called on citizens to be vaccinated.
According to the latest figures, over 87 per cent of people aged 12 and over in the UK have received their first dose of the vaccine, with over 79 per cent receiving both doses and more than 17 per cent people has received the third dose of coronavirus vaccine.

ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ: ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ ਦੀ ਹੈਲਥ ਪ੍ਰੋਟੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਸੰਕਰਮਣ ਦੇ 32,322 ਨਵੇਂ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਨਾਲ 57 ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀਆ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੋਟਲ ਗਿਣਤੀ 141,862 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਸਿਰਫ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਟੈਸਟ ਦੇ 28 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਗਏ ।
ਦੱਸ ਦਈਏ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਫਤੇ ‘ਚ ਸੰਕਰਮਣ ਚਾਹੇ 16.6 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਦੀ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਆਈ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ‘ਚ 8.2 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ‘ਚ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਦੇ 8,966 ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ‘ਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹਨ। ਬ੍ਰਿਿਟਸ਼ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹੈਲਥ ਸਰਵਿਸ (ਐਨਐਚਐਸ) ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਕਾਕਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਤਾਜਾ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਯੂਕੇ ‘ਚ 12 ਸਾਲ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ 87 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 79 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕਾ ਨੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਖੁਰਾਕਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।ਤੇ 17 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੋਰੋਨਵਾਇਰਸ ਵੈਕਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
