Patrick Brown to make a statement on his future in politics

Patrick Brown, the mayor of Brampton and a past candidate for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada, says he will put a stop to rumours about his political future later today.
On Monday morning, the former leader of the Ontario PC says he will talk about “his future ambitions in public service” on the steps of the Brampton city hall.
A claim that Brown’s campaign used at least one volunteer who was allegedly paid by another company to work for Brown led to his removal from the Conservative leadership election earlier this month.
Brown is appealing the party’s decision and has denied any improper campaign behaviour through his attorneys.
Brown is dealing with vehement opposition at Brampton city hall from approximately half of council.

ਸਾਬਕਾ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਪੀਸੀ ਲੀਡਰ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਸਿਟੀ ਹਾਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ “ਜਨ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ” ਬਾਰੇ ਬੋਲਣਗੇ।
ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਜ਼ਰਵੇਟਿਵ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਇਕ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਆਪਣੇ ਵਕੀਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ, ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਸਿਟੀ ਹਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ, ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਦੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਅੱਧੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
