-ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਡਿਸਏਬਿਲਟੀ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ (ODSP) ਵਿੱਚ 5 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਵਾਧੇ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ODSP ($1169/ਮਹੀਨਾ) ਭੋਜਨ, ਕੱਪੜੇ, ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਆਦਿ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਸਤੰਬਰ 2022 ਤੋਂ ODSP ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ $58 ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾਵਾਰ ਵਾਧਾ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

– ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 46 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ (ਅਪੁਆਇੰਟਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ) ਸਹੀ ਥਾਂ ਹੈ। ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਬਿਨੈ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ 45 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੋਣ ‘ਤੇ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਡਾਕ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੀ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਭੇਜੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰੋਸੈਸਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ 4 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
