-ਅੱਜ 2022 ਦਾ 249ਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ (6 ਸਤੰਬਰ) ਹੈ। ਜੀਟੀਏ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਣਗੇ (ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਸਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ)। ਵਧਾਈਆਂ!

-ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਟਿਕਟਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਿੰਗੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਲਗਭਗ 8 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਵਧੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਲਈ 25 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਵੱਧ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹਵਾਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ 1990 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਛਾਲ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

-Airline tickets continue to become the priciest. Inflation rose around 8 percent, but travelers are paying over 25 percent more for their journey than a year ago. The aviation sector is seeing the largest price jump since the 1990s.

-Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF 2022) will take place from September 8 to September 18. Among other cinema dignitaries, Shabana Azmi is also on the official guest list.

-Brampton’s ward 6 is the voter-richest area (48924) in the city’s West. Ward 10 follows with 41663 voters. Ward 2 (North-West) has the least voters (23368), and that number is less than half of the total voters in ward 6. There are 353621 registered voters in the city.
