ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਜਗਦੀਸ਼ ਟਾਈਟਲਰ, ਜੋ ਕਿ 1984 ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਵਿਚ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਟੀ-ਸ਼ਰਟ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਏ ਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਦਰਖ਼ਾਸਤ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਜੱਜ ਡੀ. ਐਸ. ਰਲਹਨ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਸ. ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਮਦਾਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਵਕੀਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਦਲੀਲਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਭੜਕਾਉਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਬਲਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਟੀ-ਸ਼ਰਟ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਜਾਣ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਦਾ। ਦੂਸਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਫਤੀਸ਼, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਾ 153-ਏ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਵਕੀਲ ਅੰਜੂ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿਆਲਕਾ ਤੇ ਸ. ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਛੀਨਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋਏ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ. ਸਵੈਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿਆਲਕਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸ. ਸੁਖਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ. ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਸਰਕੇ ਨੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦਲੀਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਕਥਿਤ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਕੇਵਲ ਤੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਫਿਰਕੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਕਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੇਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਮੀਜ਼ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੋਇਆ, ਪਰ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਇਹ ਉਕਤ ਟੀ-ਸ਼ਰਟ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਗਦੀਸ਼ ਟਾਈਟਲਰ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਛਾਪੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਪਾ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਤੇ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਖਿੱਚੀਆਂ, ਜੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਇਸਨੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਈਆਂ। ਇਹ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਜਾ, ਸੋ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੇਵਲ ਤੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਫਿਰਕੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਲੀਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਨ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਕਥਿਤ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਦੀ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਖਾਰਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
Court rejects bail plea of accused who visited Sri Darbar Sahib wearing t-shirt with photo of Jagdish Tytler
The Amritsar court of district session judge Daljit Singh Ralhan has rejected the bail application of Karamjit Singh Gill, accused who visited Sri Darbar Sahib wearing t-shirt of 1984 Sikh genocide accused Congress leader Jagdish Tytler.
Giving information in this regard, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) assistant secretary media Kulwinder Singh Ramdas informed that the lawyers of accused Karamjit Singh Gill argued in the court that his motive was not to hurt religious sentiments, but it was only to pay obeisance wearing t-shirt with photo of his political guru (master) (Tytler), which does not amount to offence.
On the other side, on the basis of the investigation by Commissionerate Police, Amritsar, a case of promoting enmity between different religious groups has been registered against Karamjit Singh Gill under Section 153-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Ramdas said that public prosecutor Anju Sharma and for SGPC Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka and Manjit Singh Chhina appeared in the court, who presented the argument in the court that accused Karamjit did not visit Sri Darbar Sahib to pay obeisance but only to hurt sentiments of community. He said earlier too accused Karamjit had cut the cake of his political guru on his birthday, after which they received the threats and the police provided them security.
During his visit to Sri Darbar Sahib, accused Karamjit took the entrance wearing a different shirt, but later he wore a t-shirt with photo of Jagdish Tytler and got his photographs clicked, which were later uploaded on social media. Accused Karamjit did not pay obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib during his visit, and his entire act has been caught on CCTV cameras. This clarifies that the accused visited Sri Darbar Sahib only to hurt sentiments of a community.
The honourable court rejected bail application of accused Karamjit after listening to arguments of both the parties.
