ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਡੇਲ ਇਲਾਕੇ ‘ਚ ਰੇਲਗੱਡੀ ਦੀ ਲਪੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਡੇਲ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਮਾਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਦੀ ਲਪੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਤ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਅਦ, ਐਸਟਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੈਂਡਿਸ਼ ਐਵੇਨਿਊਜ਼ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੇਲ ਪਟੜੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਬਾਰੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ CP ਰੇਲ ਮਾਲ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਰੇਲਗੱਡੀ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
A person has died after being hit by a freight train in the Rosedale area of the city of Toronto.
Police tweeted about the investigation on the train tracks in the area of Astley and Standish avenues, shortly after 10 p.m.
All CP Rail freight trains were temporarily halted in the area for investigation, police said.
Police later confirmed that one person had died after being hit by a train.
The incident is being investigated by the police.
