In Pickering, one person killed in midnight shooting

TORONTO, ON- A gunshot in Pickering overnight has left one person dead, according to Durham Region police.
Police say it happened on Dragonfly Avenue, near Sideline 26 and Taunton Road, in a tweet posted Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday morning, a police forensics truck and multiple patrol officers blocked access to a townhouse on Dragonfly Avenue.
Following the event, one adult male has been confirmed dead.
According to authorities, all parties at the residence have been identified, and there are no unidentified suspects.
A media officer is expected to arrive at the location shortly to provide an update.

ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇੱਕ ਟਵੀਟ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਡ੍ਰੈਗਨਫਲਾਈ ਐਵੇਨਿ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ ।
ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਲਗ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਉਪਲੱਬਧ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ।
