ਐਨਵਾਇਰਮੈਂਟ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੱਖਣ-ਪੱਛਮੀ ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 80 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਘੰਟੇ ਦੀ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਚੱਲ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬੰਦ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।

ਐਨਵਾਇਰਮੈਂਟ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਿਆਗਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੰਗਸਟਨ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਆ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Environment Canada is warning that the area could see strong winds gusting up to 80 kilometres an hour, resulting in possible isolated power outages.
About 53 centimetres of snow fell in Wiarton on Sunday alone, breaking the area’s single-day snowfall record.
The agency says that the areas around Niagara and Kingston could also see strong winds after enduring the weekend snowstorm.
