Ontario police investigating after man dies following stun gun shot

TORONTO, ON- The death of a 48-year-old man in car crash accident east of Toronto is being investigated by Ontario’s police watchdog.
A single-vehicle collision occurred around 12 p.m. Saturday on Highway 115 north of Highway 407 in Durham Region, according to the Special Investigations Unit.
According to the SIU, the man involved in the crash had a “contact” with a Durham regional police officer.
According to reports, the officer used his stun gun on the individual.
The man was rushed to the hospital in severe condition and pronounced dead around 2 a.m. Sunday, according to the SIU.
Anyone with knowledge regarding the event is asked to contact the department.

ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਇਨਵੈਸਟੀਗੇਸ਼ਨ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡਰਹਮ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ 407 ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ 115 ਤੇ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਰਾਤ 12 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੰਗਲ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਟੱਕਰ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।।
ਐਸਆਈਯੂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਟੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਹਮ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ “ਗੱਲਬਾਤ” ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਟਨ ਗਨ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਚਲਾਈ।
ਐਸਆਈਯੂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 2 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਏਜੰਸੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
