Police charged acupuncture practitioner in Toronto in connection with client’s sexual assault

TORONTO — A man has been arrested and charged by Peel Regional Police (PRP) after a lady was sexually abused by an acupuncture practitioner in Mississauga.
In September 2021, a 37-year-old woman went to the Hanbit Alternative Medicine Clinic in Mississauga, according to police.
The victim was allegedly sexually molested by the practitioner during the treatment. There were no physical injuries to the woman.
In connection with the investigation, Oakville resident Jong Chul Kim, 51, was arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault.
On Sept. 29, Kim appeared before a Brampton courtroom.

ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ – ਪੀਲ ਰੀਜਨਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ (ਪੀਆਰਪੀ) ਨੇ ਮਿਸੀਸਾਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਕਿਉਪੰਕਚਰ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟੀਸ਼ਨਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇੱਕ 37 ਸਾਲਾ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਸਤੰਬਰ 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਸੀਸਾਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈਨਬਿਟ ਅਲਟਰਨੇਟਿਵ ਮੈਡੀਸਨ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਈ।
ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਲਾਜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟੀਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਜਾਂਚ ਦੇ ਸਿਲਸਿਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਕਵਿਲ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਜੋਂਗ ਚੁਲ ਕਿਮ, 51, ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇਸ ਜਾਂਚ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ 905-453–2121 ‘ਤੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
