– ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਜਾਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੌਲੇ `ਚ ਜੱਟ ਨੂੰ ਸਜਾ -A court in the UK has convicted Amrik Bajwa (68) of London for uttering discriminatory slurs against Dalits (‘low castes’ ਚਮਾਰ/ਚੂਹੜਾ ਵਗੈਰਾ) in his TikTok videos. Mr. Bajwa pleaded guilty to spreading offensive, obscene, indecent messages (hate speech) on social media last year in July. He will spend 18 weeks in jail. ਵੈਸੇ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਭੱਲ ਪਚਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਸੀ।
– ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਦੀ ਚਾਬੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਸ. ਮੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ: Brampton mayor Patrick Brown will bestow ‘Key to the City’ (a symbolic honor) upon former MP Honorable Gurbax Singh Malhi during a ceremony at the Rose (theatre) on April 18. Mr. Malhi is the first Sikh to receive this honor given to a highly valued resident and member of the community.
– 4 ਦਿਨਾਂ `ਚ ਟਰੈਫਿਕ ਦੇ 60 ਮਾਮਲੇ: Peel police laid over 60 charges to drivers found in violation of traffic rules in Brampton and Mississauga during the Easter long weekend. Some of these charges include offences of street racing.
