– ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੀ ਮੁਆਫੀ: SGPC has issued an apology for a misbehaving guard refusing a woman to enter Golden Temple because she had a colored tattoo of Indian flag on her face.
– ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ `ਚ ਡਰਾਵੇ/ਕੁਟਾਪੇ/ਹਮਲੇ ਸਿਖਰਾਂ `ਤੇ! : Peel Police data says that in 2023, from January 1 to April 15 (in 105 days of New Year!), a total of 1409 assault incidents were reported in Brampton and Mississauga. More than half (741) incidents occurred in Brampton.
– ਮੇਅਰ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਧਣੇ ਜਾਰੀ: A total 0f 46 candidates have already entered the mayoral race in Toronto. Names on the ballot are still expected to grow until May 12. Election day is June 26.
– ਸਕੂਲ `ਚ ਸਿਗਰਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਨਾਹੀ: Smoking and Vaping in a school or within 20 meters of any point on the perimeter of school property is prohibited in Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon. According to the PDSB’s Code of Conduct, this prohibition applies to everyone, such as staff, students, parents, and visitors on school property, including in parking lots, inside vehicles, on sports fields, and in public areas.
– ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ `ਚ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ: American women’s world hockey team beat their Canadian counterparts (6-3) in Brampton, and won the world championship title (straight 3rd time) last night.
