– ਸਕੂਲ ਬੱਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਰਾਹਤ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ: PDSB is planning to begin the process for making adjustments to its distance requirements (aligning with the provincial formula) for the school transportation in Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon. The minimum distance requirement from junior kindergarten to Grade 1 is expected to go down to 800 meters, and students from grades 2 to 4 are also expected to greatly benefit from the upcoming formula. The distance requirement is to be revised for grades 5 to 8 from the existing 2 km to 1.6 km, and for secondary students, it will drop from 3.8 km to 3.2. More to come…

– ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ `ਚ ਜੌਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ: To speed up immigration application processing, IRCC is planning to hire 1250 new staff, and investing in a more efficient technology that includes electronic submission of asylum claims. Canada’s government is also proposing to introduce amendments to the country’s Customs Act that will allow the CBSA to transform how low-risk travelers are processed when entering Canada through enhanced use of technology.
