A Toronto man charged with first-degree murder of Khalid Jama in Etobicoke

A man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in Etobicoke last month, according to Toronto police.
On Sept. 29, shortly before midnight, a violent altercation happened near John Garland Boulevard and Martin Grove Road in the neighbourhood of John Garland Boulevard and Martin Grove Road.
Khalid Jama, a 26-year-old man, was the victim.
The suspect, a 26-year-old Toronto male, was arrested and charged. On Wednesday, he is set to appear in court.
Investigators are urging anyone with knowledge about the stabbing to call Toronto police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.

ਜੌਨ ਗਾਰਲੈਂਡ ਬੁਲੇਵਾਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰਟਿਨ ਗਰੋਵ ਰੋਡ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ 29 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਦੀ ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਚਾਕੂ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੰਸਕ ਹਮਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਪੀੜਤ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ 26 ਸਾਲਾ ਖਾਲਿਦ ਜਾਮਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ।
ਦੋਸ਼ੀ, ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ 26 ਸਾਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ, ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਰਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਾਂਚਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਛੁਰੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੰਭਾਵਤ ਉਪਯੋਗੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਜਾਂ ਕ੍ਰਾਈਮ ਸਟਾਪਰਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਅਗਿਆਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
