(Satpal Singh Johal) ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਹੱਲ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਜਰੂਰੀ:-The management of Robert J Lee Public school (at Mountanaish Road in Brampton’s ward 10) has once again asked students to leave their cell phones at home. The principal says that there are students who do not follow the guidelines for cell phone use. During the past weeks, they had major incidents involving student abuse of cell phones in the school. Students would not stop (ab)using their cell phones during learning time in a classroom. They would take cell phones into washrooms and record other students, create fake social media accounts impersonating students, and use discriminatory and derogatory language online. Students would also refuse to put cell phones away when asked by the teachers. Cell phone culture is significantly interfering with teaching and learning, teachers say. To get a productive learning and working environment in the school, Effective immediately, all R J Lee students must leave their cell phones at home. There are several landlines at school, as well as cell phones, if necessary, to communicate with families when needed.
