A man with a gunshot wound shows up in hospital in Brampton
ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਗੋਲੀ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹਾਲਤ ‘ਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ
After being shot overnight in Brampton, a man went to the hospital, and Peel Police are investigating the incident.
According to Peel Constable Himmat Gill, police learnt of the incident on Oct. 16 when the victim arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. Police were subsequently dispatched to the area of Sandalwood Parkway and Bramalea Road, where the victim said the incident occurred, according to Gill.
“We’re still looking into what happened,” he stated. “It doesn’t appear to have been a planned attack. He merely happened to be in the vicinity.”
According to authorities, the man’s injuries were mild and non-life threatening, and no suspect information was provided at the time.
ਪੀਲ ਕਾਂਸਟ. ਹਿੰਮਤ ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ 16 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਲੱਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਫਿਰ ਸੈਂਡਲਵੁੱਡ ਪਾਰਕਵੇਅ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਮਲੇਆ ਰੋਡ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਗਈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪੀੜਤ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਹੈ।
“ਅਸੀਂ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਆਖਿਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਕੀ ਹੈ,” ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ। “ਅਜਿਹਾ ਲਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੋਲੀ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਟਾਰਗੈੱਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਨਹੀ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਗੋਲੀ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਜਗਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸੀ।”
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਜਾਨਲੇਵਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਪੀਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਟਵੀਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਘਟਨਾ ਲਈ ਕਾਲ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ, 16 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 1:44 ਵਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
