*ਕਬੱਡੀ ਕਲੱਬ: Students in Louise Arbour Secondary School (from Brampton’s Ward 9) have shown a huge interest in participating in the Kabaddi Club. Around 20 students showed up for the first day of training yesterday.
*ਘਰੋਂ ਮਿਲ਼ਦਾ ਕੈਸ਼ ਪੁਆੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ: So many children bring cash (dollars) from home whereas there is no need of it for the school day, principals, and teachers from PDSB schools say. Some parents give a note of $100 to their child enrolled in an elementary class. Unaccounted cash gives the opportunity (buying ability) to acquire vapes, cannabis, cigarettes, alcohol, etc.
*2 ਦਿਨ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਹਾਲ ਬੰਦ: Brampton’s City Hall and building, including parking garage, will close for essential project work this weekend, on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26. Electrical power will be partially disconnected from 7 am to 6 pm. During the closure, City staff and the public will not be able to access City Hall and the underground parking spaces.
