RCMP honours 5 International Students who used their turbans and jackets to rescue two stranded hikers

Surrey ,BC (Kultaran Singh Padhiana): The group of international students who rescued two individuals from the Golden Ears Provincial Park using their turbans and jackets, were recognized as Community Leaders by the Ridge Meadows RCMP. Gagandeep Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Arvindjeet Singh, Kuljinder Singh and Ajay Kumar were awarded a certificate and a unique token by the RCMP, for their daring rescue over the Thanksgiving weekend in the provincial park.
ਸਰੀ, ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ (ਕੁਲਤਾਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਧਿਆਣਾ) : ਗੋਲਡਨ ਈਅਰਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰੋਵਿੰਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਪਾਰਕ ਤੋਂ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੱਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਸੀਐਮਪੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਲੀਡਰਜ਼ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਅਰਵਿੰਦਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਕੁਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਅਜੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਥੈਂਕਸਗਿਵਿੰਗ ਵੀਕਐਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਲੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਚਾਅ ਲਈ ਆਰਸੀਐਮਪੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਟੋਕਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
