DIG ਹਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਸਸਪੈਂਡ, ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ CBI ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ IPS ਅਫਸਰ DIG ਹਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਸਪੈਂਡ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ CBI ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। DIG ਉੱਤੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਹੈ।
CBI ਨੇ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ DIG ਹਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੂੰ ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਮੰਡੀ, ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਸਕ੍ਰੈਪ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ 8 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਮੰਗਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। DIG ਨੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ‘ਤੇ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਟ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਕਲੀ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਧਮਕੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ CBI ਨੂੰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਜਾਂਚ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜਾਲ ਸਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਕੇ DIG ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। CBI ਦੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ DIG ਦੇ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦਫਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸੈਕਟਰ 40 ਕੋਠੀ ਤੋਂ 5 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਨਕਦ, ਲਗਜ਼ਰੀ ਘੜੀਆਂ, ਗਹਿਣੇ, ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਵਾਲਵਰ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ। DIG ਦੀਆਂ 15 ਪ੍ਰਾਪਰਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਜ਼ਰੀ ਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਾਕਯੂਮੈਂਟ ਵੀ ਮਿਲੇ।
CBI ਨੇ DIG ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਚੋਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸੈਕਟਰ-21 ਵਿੱਚ 8 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਚੋਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੰਗੇਹੱਥੀਂ ਫਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ। DIG ਨੇ ਫੋਨ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਬੂਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
CBI ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ, ਸਕ੍ਰੈਪ ਵਪਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ DIG ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਲਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜाँच ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।

DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar Suspended After CBI Arrest in Bribery Case
Senior IPS officer DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar suspended by Punjab government after being arrested by CBI in bribery case involving Rs 8 lakh.
The Punjab government has suspended senior IPS officer DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar following his CBI arrest in a high-profile bribery case. Bhullar allegedly demanded lakhs of rupees as bribe.
On Thursday afternoon, CBI arrested DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar for allegedly demanding Rs 8 lakh from a scrap trader in Fatehgarh Sahib Mandi, Gobindgarh. When the bribe was not paid, he threatened the trader with filing an old case and creating a new fake case.
The trader filed a complaint with CBI, which, after a thorough investigation, trapped and arrested DIG Bhullar. The CBI team from Delhi and Chandigarh raided Bhullar’s Mohali office and his Chandigarh Sector-40 residence, recovering Rs 5 crore in cash, luxury watches, jewelry, imported liquor, and a revolver. Documents related to 15 properties and luxury vehicles, including BMW and Mercedes cars, were also seized.
CBI also arrested the middleman involved, who was caught red-handed in Chandigarh Sector-21 while collecting Rs 8 lakh. Phone recordings confirm that DIG Bhullar admitted to demanding the bribe and had called both the trader and the middleman to his office, leading to his arrest.
Sources reveal that CBI is monitoring other officials named by the scrap trader. The investigation is ongoing, and more senior officers may be involved.
