Fiscal watchdog will release a report on Ontario’s economic prospects

Today, Ontario’s fiscal watchdog will release a report appraising the province’s economic prospects for the coming year.
According to the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario, the report’s forecasts will be compared to the government’s intentions outlined in last fall’s economic update.
According to the press release, the report will include topics such as budget balance, debt measures, revenues, and programme spending.
The report must be submitted before the government’s yearly budget is released.
As the government prepares for a June election, this is expected to happen before the end of the month.
The Financial Accountability Office conducts independent research of provincial budgets, economic trends, and other topics.

ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਬਜਟ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ, ਕਰਜ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਉਪਾਅ, ਮਾਲੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਖਰਚਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਵਰ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
