ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੱਛਮੀ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਨਮਾਜ਼ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ੀਆ ਮਸਜਿਦ ‘ਚ ਧਮਾਕੇ ‘ਚ 30 ਦੀ ਮੌਤ, 50 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ
Officials claimed a bomb blast through a crowded Shia mosque during the Friday congregation in this northwestern Pakistani city, killing at least 30 people and injuring more than 50 others.
The incident happened inside a Jamia mosque in Peshawar’s Qissa Khwani bazaar area when attendees were offering Friday prayers, according to a rescue officer.
The blast was not immediately claimed by any group.
According to Dawn, Asim Khan, the media manager at Lady Reading, said 30 dead bodies had been taken to the hospital so far.
Officials have reported that the situation of ten injured people is critical.
Two assailants attempted to enter the mosque and fired at the police officers on duty, according to Peshawar Police Officer Ijaz Ahsan. According to him, one police officer was slain and the other was badly injured.
He went on to say that the explosion happened after the shooting incident.

ਇਕ ਬਚਾਅ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੇਸ਼ਾਵਰ ਦੇ ਕਿੱਸਾ ਖਵਾਨੀ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਖੇਤਰ ‘ਚ ਜਾਮੀਆ ਮਸਜਿਦ ‘ਚ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਨਮਾਜ਼ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
ਧਮਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਲੇਡੀ ਰੀਡਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਅਸੀਮ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 30 ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਂਦੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 10 ਜ਼ਖਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਕੈਪੀਟਲ ਸਿਟੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਾਵਰ ਇਜਾਜ਼ ਅਹਿਸਾਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਦੋ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਸਜਿਦ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਜਦਕਿ ਦੂਜਾ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
