After a cargo truck crashes through a construction zone on Highway 401, driver faces charges

According to police, a transport vehicle entered a construction zone and collided with a mound of dirt on Highway 401 in Mississauga, causing one person to be sent to the hospital.
The transport vehicle, which was laden with car parts, entered a blocked construction area along Highway 401 westbound, west of Mavis Road, according to an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) tweet.
According to police, the truck hit barrels before colliding with the dirt pile.
Officers said the crash happened at 1 a.m. Saturday.
The motorist was charged with careless driving and sent to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police.

ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਟਵੀਟ ਵਿੱਚ, ਓਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਪ੍ਰੋਵਿੰਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ (ਓਪੀਪੀ) ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਟੋ ਪਾਰਟਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਟਰੱਕ ਮੈਵਿਸ ਰੋਡ ਦੇ ਪੱਛਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ 401 ਵੈਸਟਬਾਉਂਡ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਟਰੱਕ ਬੈਰਲ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਟੱਕਰ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 1 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਹੋਈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ‘ਤੇ ਲਾਪਰਵਾਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
