According to Toronto police, a woman was critically injured in a stabbing near Eglinton West.
Just after 8 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Marlee Avenue and Eglinton Avenue for a stabbing.
According to authorities, a woman approached a bus driver and informed them that she had been stabbed. The driver then reported the incident to the police.
Officers arrived to discover a woman with stab wounds. With significant injuries, she was transported to a medical centre.
At this moment, police have no suspect information.
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਏਗਲਿੰਟਨ ਵੈਸਟ ਨੇੜੇ ਚਾਕੂ ਵੱਜਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਤ 8 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮਾਰਲੀ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਅਤੇ ਐਗਲਿਨਟਨ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਬੱਸ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਕੋਲ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਚਾਕੂ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੇ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਚਾਕੂ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲਈ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਟਰਾਮਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
