The body of a missing child found near Mitchell after falling through ice

The body of a missing 10-year-old girl has been discovered near Mitchell, Ont., after she went through the ice of a creek.
Taleya Paris, a resident of West Perth, was found dead on Monday, according to police. Her death, according to police, was not a homicide.
Taleya was last spotted in the river outside of Mitchell on March 6, when she went missing.
The search entered its ninth day on Monday, with provincial police and firemen concentrating their efforts on the spot where she fell into the water, between Perth Road 155 and Road 160, just east of Mitchell.
Over the weekend, operations were expanded all the way down the Thames River to St. Marys, roughly 25 kilometres away.
As a safety precaution, volunteers were asked to keep away from rivers and riverbanks during the search.
