Near Mount Dennis,woman critically injured after being struck by a vehicle

Toronto police say a pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle near the Mount Dennis area on Friday afternoon.
The incident took place just before 4pm in the Weston Road area.
A 60-year-old woman was taken to hospital in critical condition, police said.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the spot.
The intersection has been closed for inspection.
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਮਾਊਂਟ ਡੇਨਿਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਟੱਕਰ ਮਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਪੈਦਲ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਵੈਸਟਨ ਰੋਡ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੈਦਲ, 60 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ, ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੱਡੀ ਦਾ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਚੌਰਾਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
