Sikh jatha departs for Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib, Pakistan to celebrate ‘Khalsa Sajna Diwas’
ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪੰਜਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਸਾਜਣਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਥਾ ਰਵਾਨਾ
The jatha of 705 Sikh pilgrims today departed for Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib, Pakistan amid the resonance of ‘Bole So Nihal Sat Sri Akal’, to participate in the religious congregation to be held on the occasion of ‘Khalsa Sajna Diwas’ (Vaisakhi).
Speaking on this occasion, the leader of jatha S. Ravinder Singh Khalsa said, “SGPC had sent the list of 900 Sikh pilgrims for visa application, of which, only 705 pilgrims have got the visas. Many historical Gurdhams (Sikh shrines) are situated in Pakistan and the Sikh Sangat desire to have their glimpse and to pay obeisance and therefore, the governments of both the countries should issue the visas with open heart.”
He said the pilgrims who are part of the Sikh jatha are fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the holy shrines. He also thanked the SGPC President Advocate S. Harjinder Singh for entrusting the leadership of the jatha upon him.
Jatha will pay obeisance at these Sikh shrines
The jatha of Sikh pilgrims after participating in the main congregation Khalsa Sajna Diwas (Vaisakhi) at Sri Panja Sahib on April 14, will depart for Sri Nankana Sahib. After paying obeisance at Sri Nankana Sahib on April 15, the jatha will reach Gurdwara Sacha Sauda Sahib on April 16. Following this, the Sikh jatha will visit Gurdwara Dehra Sahib, Lahore on April 17 and 18 and Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Kartarpur Sahib on April 19 and Gurdwara Rorhi Sahib at Eminabad on April 20. The Sikh jatha will return to India after paying obeisance at Sikh shrines on April 21.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ, 12 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ- ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਸਾਜਣਾ ਦਿਵਸ (ਵੈਸਾਖੀ) ਮੌਕੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪੰਜਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ 705 ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਜਥਾ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾਈ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੂੰਜ ’ਚ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਜਥੇ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸ. ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ 900 ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਲਿਸਟ ਵੀਜੇ ਲਗਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੇਵਲ 705 ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਵੀਜੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਸੁਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲਦਿਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੀਜੇ ਦੇਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਥੇ ’ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਵਨ ਗੁਰਧਾਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਥੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਸੌਂਪਣ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਥਿਤ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਰਧਾਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ
ਖਾਲਸਾ ਸਾਜਣਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਵੈਸਾਖੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪੰਜਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਮਾਗਮ ’ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ, ਇਹ ਜਥਾ 14 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗਾ। 15 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ 16 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਥਾ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। 17-18 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਡੇਹਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਾਹੌਰ, 19 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ 20 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰੋੜੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਏਮਨਾਬਾਦ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਥਿਤ ਗੁਰਧਾਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ 21 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਥਾ ਵਾਪਸ ਭਾਰਤ ਪਰਤੇਗਾ।
