The City of Brampton supports 2 athletes of TPAR club
ਸਿਟੀ ਆਫ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ TPAR ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ 2 ਐਥਲੀਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਅਫਜਾਈ
(Satpal Singh Johal)- The City of Brampton supports the TPAR club’s 2 athletes, Harjit Singh and Kuldeep Singh, for their participation in the ‘Half Ironman Triathlon’ in Geneva (NY). TPAR Chairman Sandhura Singh Brar said that they have received a cheque for $500 from the City. The athletes, Harjit and Kuldeep, are Brampton residents, and they are getting trained by their coach to take part in a 2-kilometer swim, 90-kilometer bike race, and a 21-Km run on May 10. Mr. Brar told that the club members are excited to be a part of this amazing international competition.
(ਸਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੌਹਲ)- ਸਿਟੀ ਆਫ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ TPAR ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ 2 ਐਥਲੀਟਾਂ, ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਨੀਵਾ (NY) ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਹਾਫ ਆਇਰਨਮੈਨ ਟ੍ਰਾਈਥਲਨ’ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਟੀਪੀਆਰ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸੰਧੂਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਾੜ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ 500 ਡਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਚੈੱਕ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹਰਜੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਨਾਮਕ ਅਥਲੀਟ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ 10 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ 2 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਤੈਰਾਕੀ, 90 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਰੇਸ ਅਤੇ 21 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਚ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਬਰਾੜ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਹਨ।
