On highway ramp, woman dies in single vehicle rollover in Vaughan

On Monday morning, a 27-year-old woman was catapulted from a vehicle that slid off the ramp connecting highways 407 and 427, killing her.
At before 2 a.m. Monday, the OPP was summoned to the ramp from southbound Highway 427 to eastbound Highway 407 for a complaint of a single-car rollover crash, according to the OPP.
A 27-year-old woman was pulled out of the vehicle and pronounced dead on the spot.
The vehicle’s 22-year-old driver was taken to a hospital trauma centre in critical condition.
The accident’s cause has yet to be identified.
To allow for an investigation, the ramp was closed to traffic until around 5 a.m.

OPP ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੰਗਲ-ਕਾਰ ਰੋਲਓਵਰ ਦੀ ਟੱਕਰ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਲਈ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 2 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ 427 ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ 407 ਤੱਕ ਰੈਂਪ ‘ਤੇ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਇੱਕ 27 ਸਾਲਾ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਹਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਵਾਹਨ ਦੇ 22 ਸਾਲਾ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਟਰਾਮਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਜਾਂਚ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਰੈਂਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਲਈ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
