ਡਾਊਨਟਾਊਨ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ : ਵਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਟੱਕਰ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ
A woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Toronto’s downtown core early Wednesday morning, and she is in hospital.
At 4:13 a.m., Toronto paramedics were dispatched to Yonge and Queen streets for a report of a collision.
When they arrived, they discovered an injured adult female.
She was transferred to a trauma centre at a local hospital for treatment.
The woman was crossing the street against the light when she was struck, according to investigators.
The driver that was involved in the accident stayed on the site.
Her injuries, according to Toronto police, are not life-threatening.
ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਡਾਊਨਟਾਊਨ ਕੋਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਗਲੀ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਟੱਕਰ ਮਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਮੈਡਿਕਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਲਈ ਸਵੇਰੇ 4:13 ਵਜੇ ਯੋਂਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਵੀਨ ਸਟਰੀਟ ‘ਤੇ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ,ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੀੜਤ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਲਗ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਖਮੀ ਪਾਇਆ ।
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਟਰਾਮਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਜਾਂਚਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਔਰਤ ਸਿਗਨਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸੜਕ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਟੱਕਰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਟੱਕਰ ‘ਚ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਫ਼ਰਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਜਾਨਲੇਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
