Scarborough apartment tower fire leaves two people injured.
A fire broke out at a Scarborough apartment tower early Monday morning, injuring two people.
Just before 3 a.m., Toronto firefighters were called to 10 Glen Everest Road, near Wynnview Court and east of Kingston Road, for a blaze that quickly escalated to two alarms.
The flames were discovered on the fifth level of the structure, and firefighters were able to reach two victims who were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Their current status is unknown.
Three hours later, crews were still on the site.
The reason of the fire is under investigation.
ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਸਕਾਰਬੋਰੋ ਅਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਟਾਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੋ ਲੋਕ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਦੇ ਫਾਇਰ ਫਾਈਟਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 10 ਗਲੇਨ ਐਵਰੈਸਟ ਰੋਡ, ਵਿਨਵਿਊ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੰਗਸਟਨ ਰੋਡ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਵੇਰੇ 3 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਅੱਗ ਬੁਝਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਪਟਾਂ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ‘ਤੇ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਰਕਾਰ ਉਹ ਦੋ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਟੀਮ ਤਿੰਨ ਘੰਟੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸੀ।
ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
