Grade 11 student seriously injured after shooting outside Toronto High School

A Grade 11 student was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a shooting outside North York High School on Thursday afternoon.
It happened around 11 a.m. in the south parking lot area outside Victoria Park Collegiate Institute.
Ryan Bird, a spokesman for the Toronto District School Board, told reporters that the school was closed immediately after the shooting.
He said there were several surveillance cameras inside and outside the school and police would review the footage as part of their investigation.

ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਡਿਸਟ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸਕੂਲ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਰਿਆਨ ਬਰਡ ਨੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਕੂਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਈ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕੈਮਰੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਜੋਂ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਦੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
