Death toll rises to 51 after abandoned trailer found in San Antonio

USA: The dead bodies of at least 46 migrants were found in a tractor-trailer in San Antonio, Texas. But now the death toll has risen to 51. It is alleged that the occupants of the truck were trying to enter the United States illegally.

Many other persons were also found who were admitted to the hospital, including four children. According to reports, his health deteriorated due to heat stroke, after which he was admitted to the hospital. It is believed that all of them were sitting inside a closed truck and their condition deteriorated due to heat.

 ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਟੈਕਸਾਸ  ਦੇ ਸੈਨ ਐਂਟੋਨੀਓ ‘ਚ ਇਕ ਟਰੈਕਟਰ-ਟ੍ਰੇਲਰ  ‘ਚੋਂ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 46 ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵੱਧਕੇ 51 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਟਰੱਕ ‘ਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ‘ਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਲੋਕ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ‘ਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਇੰਨਾਂ ‘ਚ 4 ਬੱਚੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੀਟ ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਗੜ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ‘ਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦ ਟਰੱਕ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਮੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿਗੜ ਗਈ।
