East York: ਅਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਬਿਲਡਿੰਗ ‘ਚ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੋ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ
ਈਸਟ ਯਾਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਲੱਗੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਲੋਕ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਇਹ ਅੱਗ 39 ਟੋਰੇਨਸ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਵਿਖੇ, ਬ੍ਰੌਡਵਿਊ ਨੌਰਥ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ low-rise ਅਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਬਿਲਡਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ‘ਤੇ ਲੱਗੀ।
ਪੈਰਾਮੈਡਿਕਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਹਾਲਤ ‘ਚ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ। ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ TTC ਬੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ।
Two people sustained minor injuries in a smoky overnight fire in East York. The two-alarm fire broke out on the third floor of a low-rise apartment building in the Broadview North area, at 39 Torrens Ave.
Paramedics said they transported a male patient to St. Michael’s Hospital and a female patient to Michael Garron Hospital. A TTC bus was brought in for a couple hours to shelter residents impacted by the fire.
