ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ, 16 ਮਾਰਚ, 2023 – ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਸਲਟੈਂਸੀ, ICCRC ਦੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਨੇ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ 700 ਭਾਰਤੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨਿਕਾਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਕੰਸਲਟੈਂਸੀ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਗੁੰਮਰਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

The consultancy urges the Canadian government to take stringent action against unauthorized immigration consultants, also known as “ghost consultants,” who have misled innocent students by offering them fraudulent services.
The consultancy stresses the importance of policies and regulations in regard to immigration practices and issuing licenses to competent representatives. While the Canadian government has established stringent processes for obtaining licenses, there are flaws in policies that allow colleges and universities to sign up contracts with unauthorized agents, which compromises the future of students.
Brampton Immigration Consultancy believes that educational institutions should uphold integrity and follow procedures as per Canadian laws while enrolling students. They must be held responsible if they accept applications through unauthorized agents. The consultancy urges the Canadian government to instruct colleges and universities to cancel their contracts with unauthorized agents and allow applications only through Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) as per Canadian laws.
The consultancy emphasizes that the Code of Professional Conduct requires all RCICs and RISIAs to adhere to high standards of professional conduct, and the coexistence of ghost consultants forfeits the purpose of the same. It urges the Canadian government to take strict action against defaulters to protect both the public and RCICs in good standing.
